What is Broker Reciprocity?
The National Association of REALTORS® initiated broker
reciprocity in 2002 that in effect allowed brokers to display
listing information from local MLS systems. The Heunox systems
downloads this information each night, imports it into a common
format and displays this information on your website the way
you want it while maintaining local MLS rules.
What is a VOW?
The National Association of REALTORS® defines a VOW as a
Virtual Office Websites operated by MLS participants through
which they conduct online brokerage, enabling them to establish
relationships and work with clients and customers in cyberspace
in ways similar to how real estate professionals interact
with clients and customers in a "brick and mortar" environment.
Consumers accessing VOWs can search and view MLS listing data
after registering and providing their name and email address.
